Great adventure was an eye opening experience that helped us develop as an individual. We had time to reflect on our days work and our own issues we had. Spionkop was one of the best days! we were one of the fastest groups to get to the top, finishing within 1 hour and 25 minutes!. The view was absolutely stunning! and the history talk was very interesting. We learnt about one of the wars and we also heard stories about the people who fought and the families of the soldiers. River rafting was definitely a close second. The day had perfect weather and our instructor was really helpful, He paddled most of the time. We had the best time and i'm sure any one you ask will tell you that it was a special journey and we all definitely grew as people. We became more thankful for our family and the things we take fore granted e.g the fridge with tons of food, a comfy bed, and clean running water.

This was Asanda Ngcobo on our first day- It was 36 degrees and there was no shade anywhere! She definitely wasn't happy about that as you can see by her face!
This was on the top of Spionkop. We climbed up within 1 hour and 25 minutes! when we reached the top we had 2 hours to ourselves. We made tea and had a bit of a photo shoot!
This is the whole of group 5 on the top of Spionkop. We were all very happy to have made it up!.
This was on our last day. This was before we went cycling. We milked cows and we played with puppies! definitely a highlight of the journey!
