The great adventure was so much more than hiking , camping and cooking our own food. It was a journey of discovery , of creating friendships and being vulnerable. Not only did we have the most amazing leaders but the most beautiful group. Each of us was so different and had such unique. qualities but together we completed each other. We were a unit. We came as strangers and left as sisters. The great adventure helped us all discover ourselves and the woman we want to become. It helped us face our fears and exceeded our expectations of what we think we can achieve. It taught us that a leader isnt always the loudest or the strongest or even in front. Its the person that is passionate about what theyre doing and passionate about who theyre leading. The great adventure may be over but the memories , friendships and lessons learned will stay with us forever.
